I did a bit of study just before deciding to invest in the Danby. The price tag was perfect and reviews of other makes tended to say items like "stopped operating after n months". Also, the thermoelectric engineering on countless of the other makes doesn't appear to be able to hold things cool if the temperature reaches above 85 or 90, which is really effortless to reach in NY for the duration of the summer. The Danby has an old tech compressor which is time tested and must be reliable for years. The main challenge is vibration. When it really is running the point vibrates the wine bottles excessively. The other problem is the temperature manage. Wine shoud be stored at 53-55deg. I hate to be a perfectionist here but hey, isn't that why we decide to buy these points in the initial place? I've spoken with other former owners of this hassle of a cooler and heard the same critique. The preferred portion was when I referred to as to tell Danby of the problem customer service told me the challenge was an isolated challenge they've by no means had ahead of and that the temperature should be in a position to be adjusted. SO I sent back and received one other, then a further. None of them ever got warmer (or colder) than 45 degrees and I have sent it back a final time. Keep Buying About!
